Easter is a family celebration! People meet for breakfast or brunch with grandparents. Nests are built from moss, in which chocolate eggs and small toys are hidden for the children, which they can then look for in the garden and everything revolves around fertility and the reawakening of nature.
This year the weather was just perfect and together with Easter it feels like after long rainy days now FINALLY spring is really here!
Our cousin Maren traditionally takes a family walk every year with her husband Björn and their children Greta and Tammen. Sometimes Lina, Junikohl, Minho and I take also part in the fun, but this year we unfortunately had other appointments.
So the four of them had to eat bunny cookies and enjoy the blossoms of the spring meadows without us.
But I’m sure they had a lot of fun as a foursome, too! At least it looks like it, right? =)
